gregg cook

Gregg Cook is a national fitness educator with certifications from ACE and AFFA, 8 years of modern dance and movement training, and over 8 years in the fitness industry. For four years, Gregg has been recognized as one of the best instructors in New York City in New York Magazine. He has done extensive work as a master trainer for many renowned fitness programs including BOSU, Urban Rebounding, Body Bar and Schwinn Indoor Cycling and is an experienced presenter for ECA, IDEA and Sarah City conventions. He is the creator of the Body Bar Blast and RE-Circuit classes, and co-creator of the BOSU Boot Camp class. Gregg is a spokesperson for Amino Vital, often works as a consultant on fitness based advertisements, and is regularly featured as a fitness expert in national publications and on television. He and his wife, Fatima, have co-authored a series of fitness books being published by Sterling Publishing. The first of the series, Body Bar: 133 Moves for Full-Body Fitness, was released in January 2007 and the second, The Gym Survival Guide: Your Road Map to Fearless Fitness, in April, 2008. Along with the 19 classes he teaches per week for Equinox, and the weekend/summer indoor cycling and conditioning classes at ZoneHampton, Gregg keeps his hands full with his personal training, coaching and consulting business, and ongoing continuing education studies. He and his wife are currently expecting their first baby girl in July 2008.
