My latest and favorite discovery is made by Trigger Point Technologies . Basically, it is a group of 4 portable, therapeutic tools that safely and effectively penetrate the belly of the targeted muscle to the trigger point, and relieve tension and muscle spasms. They are designed to mimic the pressure and accuracy of a thumb (and feel fantastic).

Some things the TP tools are helpful for are: plantar fasciitis, IT band syndrome, piriformis syndrome, back pain, shin splints, shoulder problems, knee and hip pain, neck pain, foot problems.

These products have personally been an enormous help to me. They are quickly (in 3-5 minutes) able to hit spots the foam roller isn't able to reach in a much deeper and more effective manner.
