gregg cook
Gregg Cook is a national fitness educator with certifications from ACE, AFFA, NASM, 8 years of modern dance and movement training, and a decade of experience in the fitness industry. For four years, Gregg has been recognized as one of the best instructors in New York City in New York Magazine. He has done extensive work as a master trainer for many renowned fitness programs including BOSU, Urban Rebounding, Body Bar and Schwinn Indoor Cycling and is an experienced presenter for ECA, IDEA and Sarah City conventions. He is a certified KettleBell instructor, the creator of the Body Bar Blast, RE-Circuit and Centered classes, and co-creator of the BOSU Boot Camp class. Gregg is a spokesperson for Amino Vital, often works as a consultant on fitness based advertisements, and is regularly featured as a fitness expert in national publications and on television. He and his wife, Fatima, have co-authored 2 fitness books, Body Bar: 133 Moves for Full-Body Fitness, and The Gym Survival Guide: Your Road Map to Fearless Fitness. Gregg currently teaches a plethora of group fitness classes, including his signature indoor cycling class, TERRAcycle at Equinox Gyms throughout New York City. Aside from the classes he teaches, Gregg keeps his hands full with his personal training, coaching and consulting business, and ongoing continuing education studies. He and his wife welcomed their first child, an incredibly beautiful baby girl, Solé Zoa Cook, on July 11, 2008.
